Still depressed. Think I'll go spend some time in the Expanded Universe. |
|
Doesn't always cheer me up exactly, but takes my mind off things.

2. Star Wars books. Fantasy lit. |
|
There's a whole genre of books, graphic novels (or do you say "comic books"?), and games which expand on the Star Wars basics set out in the movies. There's some pretty elaborate thought given to it, with things dated from before the Battle of Yavin (bby) or after the Battle of Yavin (aby), stories of the origins of the Sith and Jedi orders, etc. The Battle of Yavin, btw, is the one at the end of Episode IV, where Luke blows up the Death Star.
I'm reading a book right now about the early Siths, set around 1000 bby.

3. Since they're full storylines, they're usually referred to as graphic novels. |

5. I know. Either way, they don't hold my interest, the way novels do. |

8. Yeah, the only graphic novels that held my interest were the ones set shortly before the book you're |
|
reading, during the time of Exar Kun.

11. Get well soon. And don't forget to rebook with your doctor. They can really help. |
