radio by your side, Angie baby."

Creepy song, complete with supernatural revenge on the pev neighbor boy.

Somewhat reminiscent of "Ode to Billie Joe" by Bobby Gentry and "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia" by Vicki Lawrence.

2. Yep. It's Helen Reddy & Cheap Beer Night at the Effingbroke house.
Now listening to "Ruby Red Dress" - the perfect 70s Las Vegas stage show tune!

Helen had quite a set of pipes on her, din't she?

:hi:

Cheap Beer would be a great name for a band. No doubt it's already been used!

7. As I understand the lyrics, Angie was "touched" with special, supernatural powers,
which enabled her to shrink the neighbor boy and transform him into a radio wave.

:hi:
