Often times the new username give them away like, say, Romney_kicks_dem_ass.

Or the contact email address is a fake, like [e-mail] or some bullshit like that.


There are other ways, but that's the most common.

10. It used to be that the newest sign-up's name was on the upper right corner of the board.

Now every now and then you'd look up there and see GoGOP or BushKicksAss!!1! or something. There isn't any point in waiting to see what delightful ideas that person has to share.

At least after the strict rule on sockpuppets- before you'd have to wonder if that was just somebody's joke ID to post goofy shit in the lounge so a lot of the time they'd get a post or two in to confirm their trollishness.
