Summer 'snow' in the Wild and Wonderful...

For the last month or so, the cottonwood trees here in our neighborhood have been shedding their abundant fluff on us. This morning, i just noticed that the two trees directly across the street are in full fluff mode. It looks like as heavy a 'snow' as we had at times last winter. It's even starting to 'drift' at the edges of the lawn and driveway.

I wish i had my camera handy -- it's in the shop for cleaning -- because it is absolutely beautiful out there.
