3. The weather outlook for Honolulu for the upcoming week is better than Jacksonville, FL.
It's cooler and they aren't calling for scattered thundrstorms EVERY SINGLE DAY! Glad I don't live here year round!

5. I guess you're all right, but...
If I had a vacation to take right now, I could really go for an Alaskan cruise or a mountain vacation.

11. Well, I'm going to visit my brother
that makes the vacation affordable for me. Airfare and spending money. I can't afford an Alaskan cruise.

6. I wouldn't. The best times for vacations are spring and fall.

7. I think Hawaii is pretty nice year round.
I was on Oahu in July as a teenager - it was excellent.

8. My brother and his wife honeymooned in Hawaii last year
It was during the summer, too. Maybe it was because the scenery is in full bloom?

They took lots of pictures. I need to see them again.

9. I would take Hawaii over Fort Worth without hesitation and here is why:
Fort Worth weather: current temperature: 103

Fair Feels Like: 98° Humidity: 14%

and these are our highs and lows on the 5 day outlook:
High: 103° Low: 77°
High: 105° Low: 78°
High: 102° Low: 78°
High: 100° Low: 78°
High: 99° Low: 77°

Honolulu weather:current temperature 86

Current conditions as of 10:53 am HST
Partly Cloudy

Feels Like: 88° Humidity: 48%

We have not seen rain for over six weeks. I have the water bill from hell, just trying to keep the foundation stable

10. Because some people think it's not a vacation if it's not in the tropics
To some people, vacation only means sun, sand, water. I can appreciate that, but I wish more folks would expand their horizons to vacationing in places with a lot of arts, or a different culture, or mountains or other cool scenery. There's so much to see in this world, I think they're doing themselves a disservice if all they choose to visit are beaches. But then again, to each his own, I guess.

12. You get used to it pretty quick
and there's lots of places on the windward side which are nice. The leeward side is warmest by far.

13. Because Hawaii is only about two degrees hotter in the summer than winter.
The weather is perfect year-round.

Though if your question is, "Why didn't they wait until it was winter here?" then that's a different answer.
