1. I hate paparazzi. Anyone can look bad in photos.

I'm not a huge Madonna fan, but these photos make me angry.

That said, damn, but she's too skinny.

I know the voice is canned. I admire her for how she packages her talents (or lack thereof) into a great show. I even like her music. It is all good for me. Even if she does push boundaries sometimes.

I've been through anorexia before. She probably has a very warped idea of how she looks. Maybe she's going through some awful personal stuff? I hate to see that happen to anyone.

Her arms are so thin and veiny from heavyduty workouts. In some ways, I applaud her ability to work that hard.
The plastic surgery on her face is just awful. It's a shame that she and others in the entertainment industry feel they can't grow old gracefully.

I think it is just a woman having a bad face/hair day and the papi's having a great time with it. We all look like crap sometimes. Some of us more than others.

34. I'm thinking it could be Photoshop--

the deep "sweep" under the cheekbones and the discoloration on the bicep area, and the slightly enlarged-looking hands could just be tweaks. She is rather whip-cord thin and veiny lately, but I don't think it's so apparent in her face from other contemporaneous pics (Which I doubt make-up would fix if she really looked so wasted in the face) and also, it just doesn't seem like she could maintain her muscle mass (no matter what supps she was taking--those veins look like she's got minimal body fat and maybe does use, erm...performance nutrition) if she was calorie-restricting to the point where her face was so bony. (I do suspect she maintains a low-calorie diet--it's one of those longevity gambits--less calories, less digestion, less free radicals=age slower. She could stand a little more padding out, if you asked me, though.)

Back in October, she signed a new record deal worth "$120 million over 10 years" -- she'll be the Cryptkeeper in 10 years.



Again, anyone can take a terrible picture -- believe me, I know. But I don't think these are entirely the result of poor photography (or a good hatchet job). She's entered Michael Jackson territory here. Sad, really.
