12. It's my favorite puzzle because it looks trivial

but it actually leads to a rather nasty looking quartic equation:

k⁴-2ck³+k²(a²-b²)-2ck(a²-b²)+c²(a²-b²)=0
Where a=105, b=87, c=35 and k is the height of b. Once k is found, then x can be found by solving k²+x²=b².
