I used to own that horrible red speedo with "Lifeguard" stenciled across the ass. Best job ever for a 18 year old. Just sit in the chair and watch the girls in their bikinis all day long for $12/hr.

9. I quit swimming on September 11, 2001

Easy to remember the date...

I used to swim a mile, three times a week.

I swam and dove all through school, but since
9/11, I just can't seem to muster up the energy
any more.

10. Every day now.

Loved it as a kid, then finally had daily access to a pool at the end of high school and through college. Then very little swimming for twenty-ahem years, until ten weeks ago. Now my wife and I go to the pool (almost) every doggone evening, rain or shine, unless lightning is actually striking nearby trees. :D

I really need to get back in the habit of lap swimming..there is an indoor pool near my place...The problem is I usually feel like shit at the end of the day so don't want to do anything but crash.
