I live in a ridiculously large house, yet somehow the critters ALL
have to be within two feet of each other, getting on each others' nerves and generally being pains in each others' asses. What's with that?!

my kitties do that occasionally, but they do it by having to be on top of me at all times...the hotter the weather, the better x(

4. I'm about to stop breaking up their little tetes a tetes, and just let 'em have at it.
The cats might want to remember that there was a fatality earlier this week, when a cat crossed the beagle.

Fur only makes it worse.

Earlier, my cat was attacking the dog's nose. It was a real attack with claws. When I asked my husband if he could figure out why she was doing that, he said that the dog was in the cat's favorite spot. I thought the cat had more than one favorite spot. But as soon as the dog moved over, the cat settled down.

My husband is more observant about favorite spots, I guess.
