du is a good interim friend. for a while, after i broke up with my ex and lost my old friends, du'ers were my only 'friends'.

took a few years, and now i have friends again. as will you. :hug:

the other clergy in town get together and go to movies and stuff. I told him we used to do that in Iowa, and he said "I'd invite you, but a lot of other people would quit coming then." Then he adds "...you understand."

NO!!! I DO NOT UNDERSTAND!! Invite the gay-friendly, progressive pastor and LET THE BIGOTS STAY HOME!!! DAMMIT!!!

Yeah. It does seem like a hostile town.
