Is anybody using the Skype Extension with Firefox?
This is sort of a continuation of my previous thread here. I was able to identify the Skype extension as the root of my Firefox problems, thanks to some nifty diagnostic help from nomad1776. Now I'm wondering if anybody else is using the Skype extension with Firefox v. 2.0.0.16 or newer, and if they are experiencing any problems.

Anybody?

1. I've got it running with Firefox 3.0 on my 64 bit Vista install.
It doesn't seem to be causing any problems. Certainly nothing like what you described in your other thread. Hmmm, I have a feeling this is going to be one of those thorny probems.

2. It was really odd.
It started working when I uninstalled all add-ons. I started installing add-ons one by one, then checking for problems. Then I uninstalled/reinstalled Skype to get the extension back on Firefox, and when I restarted Firefox I got a blank page. I clicked the "home" icon, and it took me to the default homepage, rather than my homepage. I went to "options", and saw that my homepage was still the active homepage. I re-enter the information anyway, restart Firefox and get a blank page. I click the "home" icon and get the default homepage again. I had to reinstall Firefox to get it to work again.

So, I never really observed the same symptoms again, but the Skype extension has to be the problem by process of elimination.
