1. I tried it earlier...

it returns on average 40% of the hits Google does, is less intuitive, and has a awful design/layout of returned results.

2. I tried it earlier, too.

I was looking for an asian grocery in a nearby city. Cuil returned one (1) result that led me nowhere, and google gave me tens of thousands of results, the first of which led me to exactly what I needed.

3. No thanks ...

Needs vast improvement. I searched a rather specific historical personality for which I know the top sites, all of which appear within the first two pages of google results. This engine returned none of them but did return repetitive results pointing to the same sites. Some of the top results were just bizarre, one of the top five pointing to a single personal page with very little info. Entire websites exist on the subject. I got to page ten of the results and only one of the major sites had shown up, that being Wikipedia.

Reminds me of webcrawler a bit in the type of information it pulls.

Wasn't working very well. Oh well, maybe they'll work the bugs out or it's just a bunch of hype.
