I tried sea beans last night...

The flavor wasn't bad...quite salty, and these tasted pretty buttery. But the texture was kind of pithy. Maybe they were under or overcooked?

They were pretty crispy.

It probably was their normal texture (though I am just guessing here, because I've not had those kinds of beans before).

9. It's sometimes called salicornia or samphire...

Right when you think you've seen it all you see a little bit more. I've never eaten them. But they look like something Luke Skywalker's Aunt Baru would toss into a bubbly pot piece by piece
