3. My dear Parche!
I am just fine, sweetie...

I was in my car at a stoplight, when it hit...

It was weird! I've never experienced an earthquake in my car before!

One of my framed pics fell over; that was the only thing that happened here...

4. I was in my car for Whittier Narrows.
There was a small foreshock, and I thought I had a flat tire.

The main shock hit when I was at a red light. I thought the car next to me had hydraulics. Then I realized I was moving too. Then a plate glass window in the Security Pacific National Bank (remember those?) shattered, and I finally figured it out.

Wish you & KW weren't so far apart. She could use some comfort.

That was a big one...

I know she could...she called and I did what I could over the phone...

5. Still kickin' here in Brea.
It spiced up an otherwise uneventful day.

7. Not a thing moved out of place.
Just a little swaying.

We're fine.
