3. How are you and your family?
I often think of you guys and hope all is well, plus I am kicking this for an adorable example of toddlerhood. It reminds me of when BabyG got into my lipstick and painted his entire face at 2. :hi:

4. all is indeed well.
We had a good trip to see his birthparents and now Ms U and I are trying to make ourselves get ready for school. She's taking 17 hours this fall, so things are only going to get nuttier. :silly: Haven't had any lipstick incidents, but I'm waiting. How are you and the kids? Haven't seen WannaBe around for a little while.

5. I'm contemplating a move.
It's just not the same here and I think it would be good for BabyG. A new, if not fresh and happy, start. WannaB's graduation party was last weekend. I'm so glad I had her when I was 11. She had a good time. She's off with that crazy hippie boyfriend of hers a lot. ;)

7. Big. Really big.
Without being a grief ninny or going on about me; Michigan was MrG's world. I never much liked it until we met. He's the one who took me up North etc... Everytime I leave the house; the streets, the stores, the life is all him, only without him. I went, a few months ago, to visit family (in Texas of all places) and it was a relief for there to be no memories. I stuck out the year thing but I think I want out. Not sure where. Just anywhere but here. BabyG has put in his vote for Alaska.

9. I am not sure. Family in Wisconsin wants me to move there, but you
can't go back again. The Texas family is telling me to move there. Housing is inexpensive and they are in a good (comparatively speaking) district in Houston. I am looking everywhere, and telling myself that I have time because of the RE market here. But we all know what happens then...I'll be one of the ones who actually gets an offer on her house this time. I do think I will go someplace warmer because the cold has been a catalyst on a lot of RA flares lately. I'll keep you posted.

10. Ah, the 'paaah-teee' hat.
*L* He's adorable. I'm so glad he came into your life. I recognise the joy he brings to you if only through your posts on a message board. I imagine being in the same room, you would simply radiate.

12. my friend, if you only knew.
Mr. Hardhead cracked me up yesterday. He spent most of the day with the "big kids" in the 3-4s room at school, playing with their train toys and (this is from the teacher over there) teaching them the alphabet. :D During the day, Ms U made him a kitchen from boxes...

He spent a solid hour seating us at his little table (low chairs, my knees may not recover), serving us cookies and plastic fruit, sliding things maniacally into the oven, and standing about three feet away, the proudest chef/server/maitre d' you've ever seen. :D

We're fortunate that his mother is good at making low-cost toys out of cardboard, because when he gets bored, watch out. We need to figure out how to channel the energy pretty constantly. :hi:

edited because I evidently can't spell "ornery" and that wasn't really the word I wanted anyway.
