I've watched the lecture, even though it kills me, and I really like it. I haven't seen the Dateline though.
I'm really trying to be a Tigger and not an Eeyore though. :hi:

2. There was something about it that bothered me |

I really think his entire message rocks, but there is something about the hype that ruined it for me.

He uses Disney imagery in his lecture to motivate people? My proverbial supreme being, it's even lamer than I thought. I refuse to watch it. But I've read his bio and a summary of the lecture. The part I saw, he was wearing a Disney polo and talking about how his whole dream was to work for Disney, which he achieved.

I feel the same way about that. The only thing keeping people from their dreams is that "they don't want it bad enough"? That is just monumentally LAME.

Most of it was a repeat of the first two interviews. I have known only one other person who was okay with dying from cancer. She had a great sense of humor to start with and was an amazing woman. I'm not much for a self pity party, but I'm not sure I could be so peppy. As a mom, my heart aches for the children.
