The joys of insomnia: EWTN edition
Having been clotheslined by a large metal object tonight, I have a headache, and a nasty throbbing wound. As such, sleep is out of the question.

So, masochist that I am, I am watching EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network), a conservative Catholic channel.

Tonight, I am watching a show called "The Great Heresies". This episode is explaining how the Crusades were a "noble undertaking."

Wow. This is some serious denial. Finishing out this train wreck of a show is a must.

4. yeah..
but I'm in sufficient pain that I'm not really tired.

I'm trying to configure out how to conceal the huge scab on my forehead. As I mentioned (sort of)...I can into one of those wires that provide tension/support to telephone polls. It must have been really funny to watch, but it hurts like hell.

6. I realize this is of little consolation to you,
but I once ran (literally) into a steel support beam in the high school gym while doing basketball drills. I guess I was too busy keeping my eye on the ball. :eyes: Pretty difficult to disguise broken glasses and a goose egg the size of a goose egg right between my eyebrows. x(

9. After all the bad publicity, they still defend it?
That's really kind of sadly hilarious.
