It's that time of night again. Why are you up? Ask me anything. And I'll ask you anything.

5. Hey Heidi!...
...yep, I'm getting some pre-existing tattoos incorporated into a sleeve. My arm has been drilled on for 4 hours, and I still have to go back for another session. I'm wiped out....:hi:

3. What the hell? You got your arm drilled on for 4 1/2 hours?
Was this a medical procedure?

Sounds like you had your damned arm cut off!

6. Tattooing. Actually it was 4 hours, so I did exaggerate by 30 minutes....
...or maybe it was 4 and half. I think I lost count after the 4th hour...:hi:

13. Hi back!
:hi: Show us a pic of your finished tat when you get a chance.

This reminded me of a funny story. (Speaking of thinking you got your am sawed off)

My pup is very sensitive about having his nails touched. Several years ago, my brother and I worked up a sweat trying to cut his nails, only to get one done. I figured it was not worth all that trauma, and would rather have the vet do it. (And be the bad guy)

They muzzled him, and got the job done. But not before the entire waiting room heard him carry on pitifully, and whine and cry the whole time. I was not allowed to be in there at the time.

They brought him back out for me to take him home. One guy asked me what injury happened to my dog. I laughed and said he just had his nails trimmed. This guy told me, my gawd, I though he was getting a leg sawed off! LOL!

8. grocery shopping at 3am is the best
because nobody is in the store except the stockers and the lone checker....

also....if you go around 2-4am the bakery will be baking all their goods for the coming day, and it smells like some sort of heaven. The are cooking the donuts, bread, cakes, and all that at the same time and it really smells overwhelmingly delicious.

10. The bad thing is,
it's 11:08 a.m. here. x(

I used to love shopping latelatelate at night in the US; everything was fresh and there were hardly any people in the store. :)

:hi: ikhor! :pals:

9. Oh, I know that's a bad day for you.

I hate it too. I split the bills with my mother, and most groceries are on her tab. But it drives me nuts.

I swear, I love my mother dearly. But she has to go up and down every single isle and read every damned can and package in every row. I just about need a wheelchair before we get outta there.

I finally wised up. I drop her off and tell her to call me when it is time to pick her up. My gawd, sometimes 3 hours!

I think she and the cats are plotting to kill me, LOL!

But then I'd be in the same position as you "cat plotting to kill me."

15. Yep! Cats are devious like that!
It's a wonder so many of us love them anyway.

My only excuse is that I think they are funny, and I love to see "spirit".

7. i'm up because i'm vampyric
i have reverse sleep schedule. (my nights and days are not "mixed up", i prefer it this way)

Why are you up?

I just got back from riding my bike to the grocery store for a ribeye and club soda. Getting club soda on a bike is not a good thing to do, because you have to wait 2 hours to open it otherwise it will spew everywhere and be flat next time you open it. And by the way, what is the deal with Canada Dry wanting $4.50 for a 6-pack of club soda? It's club soda for god sakes. Also, the grocery store blocks the alcohol aisle off with shopping carts and stocker pallets after 12pm, so I have to climb over the boxes like a monkey to get in there to get the club soda. Meanwhile, the lone checker is watching me, thinking that I am about to pull a wahoo. (i wish i had a pet monkey that could do this for me....get the club soda, not the wahoo)

I require the club soda because I am now addicted to Americanos and Negroni's. (i put a splash of soda in Negroni's too)

17. My hours are fucked up; I'm an insomniac, and personal reasons I don't care to discuss publicly.

19. i already said
my sleep schedule is reversed from normal humans. I am fully awake and aware at night when the moon is shining, and sleepy when the sun is out.

I'm not an insomniac, I sleep really well....just on my own schedule.

20. Sorry I caused you to repeat yourself.
I just forgot. At the time, I was watching other threads, working around the house, and my cats were trying to kill me.

I really need to learn how to multi-task again.

22. Geeze! I had to Google Campari!
Naw, they just like to be underfoot constantly. Cuz they love me, dammit!

Did I mention the one I accidentally stepped on in the dark one night? I saved the little fucker, but fell flat on my face and ass for my trouble. Broke my glasses and eye orbit, among other injuries. $2000 in xrays, and still counting.

Good thing I love the little shit.
