And in all his interactions with the ape society everyone is speaking English. Isn't it kind of strange that he didn't realize right away that he was back on the planet Earth? Weren't there clues all around him? An oxygen/nitrogen atmosphere, human beings, similarities in fauna and flora... the Goddamned MOON!
Why did it take for him to come across the remains of the Statue of Liberty for him to realize that he was actually BACK on the the planet Earth?
