Okay, this really pisses me off.

TM works at a local franchise. It was purchased recently by a major douchebag who changed their pay dates.

Today, she and 8 other kids went in to get their paychecks. No go, they were told, you don't get paid until the new cycle kicks in on August 8th.

I just tore the bookkeeper/owner a new one because there are at least 2 kids at that store who help support their families and this information needs to be given to employees in writing. Apparently, she feels some remorse because she said the kids could get their money in cash tonight at the store. Additionally, she said that any 'hardship' cases should be discussed with management. Like that in itself isn't a violation seven shades of crazy.

I already called the labor board. I'm fucking filing a complaint.

God fucking damn it. I AM PISSED.

The same thing happened to me 5years ago
We were bought out by the dumbest most ignorant company out there, we originally had
paydays on 15th and end of month
Their paydays were now once a month, that was fine, but they were late with the checks for 2days
and I called them on it, and they said so what, you are getting paid.....
They didnt like me at all after that.....even though I was the top agent.
