im considering cutting mine... it gets attention but i donno if it is actuially helping/hurting me in the long run. (to put it in age perspective im 17, kinda got a kurt cobain thing... nothing too long)

any feed back is aprecieated... i dont have access to a digital camera so ill just have to go on general anwsers for now.

full head of hair, but not if they are balding. In that case, men look better just bald.

Also, some guys can pull it off and some guys can't - it's really a case by case situation. I prefer it somewhere in between, but it's only one factor in the question of attractiveness.

and beards. Can't say why, I've no real clue. But more than a few guys with short hair and clean-shaven faces have made it into my heart.

While I'd prefer to be able to run my fingers through a man's hair (hubby's hair is as short as possible without being bald and I admit I miss the hair thing), long hair on a man wouldn't be my preference really. 99 % of the time I think long hair on men is just not good. Every once in a while, though I will see a guy who looks damn fine with long hair.

I like long hair on a guy--but like so many have said, it's on a case by case basis. Stringy is bad, thick and silky is great! Sometimes it depends on bone structure, too. Some guys look great naturally with long hair, some guys just look lame. I'm looking forward to your posting a pic!

I have met a few guys who can pull it off, very few. Mostly I think it just looks kinda silly. Especially since they can't seem to keep it clean, and then it looks really bad. And pony tails on men are over rated. That said, Kurt Cobain's hair is an acceptable length, but any longer is bad.

What I don't like is when older guys still have long hair and also a receding hairline. :wtf: It's like a combover, you're not fooling anybody so what's the point. At that point, an older guy looks more youthful with shorter hair.

Do something like David Boreanaz, mussed, kinda unkempt...that's in right now. Hair is a big deal for me. Of course my bf keeps his shaved most of the time. It's sexy cause he's a bigger guy. But long hair is nice as long as it's taken care of and a decent length. As long as it's not stringy, it's good...if you're getting into kurt cobain thing, please for the love of God cut it..a.nd you'll be getting more girls, I promise.

go with what you have - if you have a full head of hair and like it long, keep it. If you are starting to bald, it may be time to cut it off.

but it's ALL about the quality of the hair. Frizz-bomb "hippy" hair, 80s' "Whitesnake" hair, man-going-bald "Michael Bolton" hair are all just BAAAAD. Bleck.

the way the fellow looks and how much hair he has.

People with really think hair shouldn't wear it long because it looks sad, a good layered haircut makes it look fuller and makes them look better.
Men with thin hair and even those that are balding look bad when they wear their hair long.
