Who on earth decided that Milk Duds was a good name for a candy?

According to the manufacturer, the word "Milk" in the name refers to the large amount of milk in the product and the word "Duds" came about because the original aim of having a perfectly round piece was found to be impossible.

One of my top 5 favorite candies ever.
