I'm changing auto insurance companies...
Does anyone know if Progressive or Allstate outsource their employees? I'm really apprehensive about taking my business to a company that outsources to another country. Thanks. :-)

1. Progressive's CEO donates to Democrats...
...outsourcing? I dunno. Lou Dobbs of CNN has a list of companies that outsource.

2. Why don't you call and ask?
If everyone started making that a criteria for doing business some of these corporations might get the hint that outsourcing is not good for their business!

5. When I get my choices narrowed down
that will definately be one of the questions. I just thought maybe our intelligent DUers would know first. :-)

3. GEICO
The commercials are correct. You'll save a bundle and they don't outsource to foreign countries. (Government Employees Insurance COmpany)

I like em. Get a quote online first. THEN call them and complain the the online quote is far steeper than you thought it would be. Trust me on this one. They'll give you enough discounts to bring the price down by around half from the original quote.

-I do not work for GEICO, BTW-

8. AAA

Although I don't know about any offshoring. My buddy switched his vehicles over and saved a bunch. It requires a membership but is nonprofit and returns any overfunding to customers. I would switch but I have been so long with the same vehicle at Allstate that they have waived deductibles. AAA would save me a few bucks but that would come at the cost of deductibles.

Apparently Allstate does offshore (maybe I should switch), here is list of some big name companies that do offshore:

I bet that there are lots more.
