Life imitates Monty Python
We went to the Arthur Illinois Cheese Festival today, which was conspicuously void of cheese:

http://www.arthurcheesefestival.com/

The main walkway through the festival, which is absent cheese.

A cheese serving cart - no Muenster, no Cheshire, no Stilton, no Gruyere. Mr. Wensleydale was nowhere to be found.

The Free Cheese tent - fresh out of cheese. Wallace and Gromit apparently beat us to it all.

The Arthur Cheese Shop, so clean it is certainly uncontaminated by cheese.

Seriously, who has a cheese festival without cheese? It's so bizarre it seems a parody. Not only that, but they had toasted ravioli - with no marinara. The Prophetess said that there wasn't any point in expecting marinara for toasted ravioli at a cheese festival without cheese. She has a point.

18. What happens next:
Mr. Wensleydale: I think it's a bit runnier than you'd like, sir.

Mr. Mousebender: I don't care how fucking* runny it is. Hand it over with all speed.

Mr. Wensleydale: Yes, sir. Ohhhhhh.

Mr. Mousebender: What?

Mr. Wensleydale: The cat's eaten it.

Mr. Mousebender: Has he?

Mr. Wensleydale: She, sir.

*"excrementally" in the teevee version.

11. The world should be void of cheese
I despise cheese.

But I continue my streak of opening every thread with a Monty Python reference in the title. :)

There is nothing like the majesty of well-aged sharp Cheddar, the friendliness of Gouda, or a stately Stilton. Behold the power of cheese!
