I resent the presence of men in my women's gym. |
|
They're personal trainers. I get it. But it's a women's gym. I don't want men in that place. It's not up to me, and there's no sign on the door that says "WOMEN ONLY."
My irrational mind tells these women, "If you want a male trainer, go to a co-ed gym."
I don't hate, nor am I afraid of, men. Just get out of my gym, fellas. Ya bug me.

1. I would find that rather off putting myself. |

2. Me too. I would feel very self-conscious and unlikely to come back again |

it's rare, but when it happens, like today, it sucks.

4. I don't like guys in my gym, either. And I'm a guy. |
|
Actually, I just don't like sweating near other sweaty strangers.
That's why I'm happy to report I picked up a Bowflex machine last month for $200. Now my wife and I can each work out whenever we want, I never have to wait for a machine, and I can look how I want to look.

11. Yup. We were very happy. I've wanted one for a long time, |
|
but I wasn't going to shell out $800 or more.
Between the bowflex, jogging in place on our mini-tramp, and kicking the bag, I can now do a great workout here in the basement, and I don't have to drive to the gym, and I get to listen to what I want.

8. Kesha, I have no idea what's getting me there. |
|
I know why I'm going: because I don't want to die before my niece gets it together. Because I don't want to die at age 45, or 50, or 60, etc.
But I don't know what's getting me there. I never want to go. I just don't want to go. but I go. I resent the hell out of it, but I go.
Today was BAD because of the guy that was there. I REALLY resented it. But i was there.

9. It's YOU taking control |
|
of YOU.
:loveya:
I know I should exercise but I haven't had the energy. I'm hoping that will change with the Iron Infusions I'm getting and the increase in vitamin/mineral supplements. My mind has big ideas, by body doesn't cooperate
Trying to get myself out of a funk. At least I do go for a walk at night. It's something.
