20+ Ft Trebuchet (Lord of the Rings style catapult) (North Santa Ana)

I have a 20+ foot tall working trebuchet (medieval lord of the rings style catapult) that I have to get rid of ASAP!!!!. It was built for a church summer camp project a couple years ago, and we cant store it anymore. it was built from $700+ worth of hardware and lumber- It's currently stored in sections, (about 5-6?) and can be transported like that in a 14' trailer. I'm just looking for a good home. I'll be happy to help set it up! email for more info!
Tim
(the pic is poor quality due to being a screenshot of a camera phone video of a dvd playing on my puter. i have the vid clip available but it's similar quality- it does show the trebuchet working tho. the blue barrel (full of water) doesnt come with the treb- but you can use anything heavy as a counterweight- and i have the plans somewhere to build the prescribed bucket- just never got around to it.

7. Way to catapult the propaganda, KW.
I'd love to help you out, but I'm really in the market for an arbalest. Any suggestions?

Best of luck in your sale, though--that's a great project, and it's a shame that you're no longer able to store it.

8. Bah!
A Trebuchet is a Northern Exposure style catapult! :P

One question. Do you have to use a cat or can you fling other objects? :)

17. I think I had a ballista wait on me last time I was at Starbucks.
She was tense and about to snap. I bet the Decapitated Al Pacinos went flying right after I left.

14. Trebuchet.com has trebuchets kits and links to where you can get ballista plans
Their trebuchets range from desktop models to this beauty:

The Stirling Warwolf Trebuchet
During a siege of Stirling Castle in 1304, Edward Longshanks (Edward the first, King of England) ordered his engineers to make a giant trebuchet for the English army, named "Warwolf".

With one blow, Warwolf leveled a section of wall, successfully concluding the siege of Stirling Castle. The Stirling Warwolf is generally thought of as the most powerful and most famous of the trebuchets in history.
