LENT ,What Will You Be Giving?
Lent is not only a time for self improvement, it is also a a time to give to others. Please at this time visit a nursing home and bring a little joy to someone in pain. Pray for those people so that their pain, suffering, and abuse will be ended. We are all next in line. Look the other way and people will look the other way when it's your turn. Help today and be helped tomorrow. Thank You. The Democratic Kid.. Health care Reform Activist.

3. Why use religion to be nice?
I fully agree with the Jehovah Witness Religion on this idea: Religion should not be used as an excuse to be good. People should just be good.

For example, why do donations to charity go up around Christmas? The cynic in my says it is tax deduction time, but really it is because people are guilted by religion to feel generous.

The same charities that need your help in Feb get nothing.

Why should you only give gifts to your loved ones on their birthday. Everyday should be spend grateful that you have these people in your life and if you must show monetary compensation, don't wait til the holiday.

I understand your message, just think you are riding the wrong horse to deliver it.
