2. Did my one box last night
Been putting it off, too, since I can't stand for "long" periods (even a few minutes is painful...stupid sciatic nerve...) ;)

6. ugh. I have 8 litterboxes.
7 cats ... I just scoop them twice a day (a.m. and p.m.) and that way it never gets overwhelming... only takes about 2 minutes total, too. If you do it regularly (and use scoopable litter), it is easy (though not fun).

Your girls are lovely! Middle one looks like my Ivan (enormous tux boykitty) :D

8. check out the ultimate litter box!!

http://www.catgenie.com/?R=cf

I was a very dilligent scooper, with one cat I cleaned the box every day unless I was on a trip. But when my mom died, I left my cat with my dad so he'd have something else to concentrate on. She's been with him for a year and 1/2 now, so I bought him a Scoop free self-cleaner box. But you still need to change it out every 4 weeks. This cat genie might even be better!

this is what I use. I have three of them now. this works for us because we also have a border collie, and he can't get his head in there for a snack. ick

13. names are...
Dora - she's the newest addition. She's probably close to 4 months now, we don't know exactly.
We've had her for ten days. We took her from the *bleep bleep* down the street because he wasn't taking care of her right. He's the neighbor we all wish would go away. :eyes:
The first three days we had her, all she did was eat and sleep. She was not skin and bones, but was too thin. I don't think she quite got enough to eat every day. Now she's starting to look not so skinny and is very happy. So cute. and now that she's not hungry, she's into everything! Non stop kitty olympics. Likes to cuddle. The other two are warmed up to her now.

Billi - She's just over 3 years. She's lazy, and proud of it. She loves to eat. I cut back her food and she kept gaining weight. I discovered she was getting into the dog's food! Sneaky she is.
But she's my baby. I had her from 7 weeks old. She likes to bug me when I'm in bed trying to read.
Very jealous of the new kitty, but got over it when I would remind her that she's still the baby. Hoping she'll get a little more exercise playing with the kitty.

Miss Kitty - My mom and I rescued her 10 years ago. Was my mom's cat, really for years, but I took her in 2004 when my mom had to go live with grandma after my granddad died. She's the queen. It's all about her. And she'll remind you too. Very vocal Siamese. Do not pick her up. She'll come to you when she wants YOU to pet her. and you MUST at her command. Not mean to the kitty, but will NOT play unless SHE wants to. So BACK OFF, kid, your buggin me!
