i have my best friend back! i can't describe how happy i am, even if it's only temporary

she left three years ago for what was supposed to be a year studying in germany, but she decided she was going to finish her undergrad out there and won't be moving home until next spring.

i haven't seen her for two years, but she's out here for a month for our friend's wedding. we spent about three hours together this afternoon/evening and it's like we haven't missed a day. we have a turbulent history and didn't talk for about five years, but being with here is like being home again.

we're going to go out and hit our old bar tonight and i can't wait :bounce:

this level of happiness has come so rarely for me lately that i just had to gush about it.
