The Passion of Peter Gabriel
Brilliant album. It is the soundtrack to another movie about Christ.

I am not a Christian, but I thought that movie was great. And the soundtrack is awesome.

Thoughts?

1. Agreed. Now THAT was brilliant. The Last Temptation of Christ
is the title. My all time favorite album...all kinds of subtle layering and interpretive nuance.

"Last Temptation. . . " was another incredible cinematic achievement by Scorsese. Much better representation of the man Jesus than the sensationalism of Mel's gore fest.

You inspired me to put this disc into the changer. Great stuff.

4. Perhaps the scene with Lott and his daughters should have been included?
After all, that is in the book?

5. love it too

I used to listen to tracks 7 and 22 ('Bread and Wind' and 'It is Accomplished' iirc) endlessly.

The movie was beautiful in its way.
