"Permalink" feature...assistance requested

Ok, I didn't see anything in the help file and I clicked the link in a post of mine. What is this and how do you reverse it? I can't respond to my own thread any longer...is it now archived?

I have never even used permalink. I would try to alert the mods in your original post and see if they can un-archive it. I am sure there is a way.

2. Try clicking "View All" at the top of the thread, next to the post title.

Every post has a unique ID number so you can link to a particular post in a particular thread, that's all.

4. You are gonna have to hit the alert button

Go into your post and hit the alert button on the far left under your post. Tell the mods what happened and they should be able to unlock the thread. Once a thread is locked only the mods are going to be able to help you.

6. Yeah you can email the mods

I forgot once the thread is locked the alert button disappears.

who posted above in this thread is a mod. He should be able to un-archive it for you.
