6. The same thing I always say when people

Tattoo names on themselves. It better be your mom, dad, a dead person, or your kid. EVERY other living beings relationship to you is subject to change and you most likely will regret getting their name on you at some point.

It didn't bother her because it was a long time ago,during WWII that he did it.

11. Since I was the OP of that particular post...

I say, of course I don't care about a persons tattoos (I have one myself), I feel nothing but empathy for unwed teen mothers and since I have an autistic son (who is a great artist), I know what it's like to have a "special needs" child. All that being said, it is the "hypocrisy in our democracy" that has me agitated. Republicans are now OK with the things that we couldn't give a shit about for decades and we are left in the uncomfortable position of saying nothing (so as not to be accused of being judgmental or mean), thereby letting them off the hook or pointing it out. It's not about the tattoos, the pregnant daughter, the special needs child or even the moose hunting (OK, I admit, the moose hunting gets to me), it is about hypocrisy, greed, corruption and incompetence. Sometimes the high road is just a little too steep....

And generally tattoos on the hands/face/neck are a bad idea if you want a professional job- anything else can be covered in a pinch.

If a friend of mine asked about getting that one, I'd advise against it, and suggest maybe her name over his heart or something (bonus- easier to cover later.)
