I'm back from the Jonas Brothers. |
|
If I ever have to be alone in a car with BabyMidlo for 6 hours at a clip, I will need some major drugs. The only time she shut up was....never. 6 hours of Everybody Loves Raymond. All the way there. All the way back. Some of it was funny to listen to, however.
Mapquest and my nav system were bitch slapping each other the entire way. Frankly, it's actually a miracle I didn't up at the RNC.
Concert was great. They are actually pretty good. They brought a little girl up on stage to sing with them and at the end a fellow with Down Syndrome joined them on stage. I liked that.
They also did some spots on their foundation, which I also liked.
The little shit behind me never stopped kicking my chair the entire time, even when I asked her three times and finally asked her mother to get her to stop. She's lucky I didn't throw her over the railing, the little shit. The only reason I didn't is that I probably couldn't have lifted her. :hide: And, she cried a lot, too.
$55 for a tee-shirt and a program. Those kids are practically shitting money.
Returned home to find that in my absence, my husband had taken BoyMidlo for a haircut. Which was fine, he needed one. However, the barber messed it up and it was uneven, so Mr. took his beard clippers to it and now my son is bald. I shrieked when I first saw him. That's how scary it looks. He does not have the, shall we say, correct head shape for bald.
BabyMidlo had a fantastic time. All I wanted to do was get the heck out of there and get a drink. However, by the time the concert was over, everything except Perkins was closed. Fucking State College, PA.
The scenery was beautiful.
End trasnmission.

Natalie Cole will be performing at TM's college in October. I'd like to see that as well.

9. *snort* (where do you think Lelapin learned it?) |
|
Hehe...
I have continual fights with Garmin and any maps I print out. You can almost hear an audible sigh when she says "recalculating". :)
Glad you made the trip. Babymidlo will never forget it. Guessing you won't either.
:toast:
Drink up!

10. You should tour with them |
|
You could sell grill cheese sandwiches in the parking lot before the shows to save money for the next tour stop. :P

11. Man, I'd like to have the margarita concession for that tour. |
|
Most parents would see the tour T-shirt as a luxury, but a cold one amidst that, as a necessity.

The first concert she ever went to was Three Dog Night.
She loves the Who, too. Go figure.
They were pretty good, though. I was surprised.
