1. I've seen Pink Floyd, but only without Rogers, and I've seen Waters, but without Pink Floyd
What I'd like to see is the full Pink Floyd, like we saw for that glorious half our at G8 or whatever the fuck it was.

Come back to us, Pink Floyd!!!!

13. Can a band that never had integrity in the first place "sell out"?
Although truthfully I'm not familiar with the history of the Jonas Brothers so I guess it's possible they once had integrity.

14. They always put on a great show
Saw them in the Stadium formerly known as San Diego in 1981 and also in the Stadium formerly known as Foxboro in 1997. They never run out of material either!

9. My uncles took me to a Led Zeppelin concert when I was 5.
I was too young to appreciate it. I would love to go back in time to see them. I've seen the Stones 13 times and Pink Floyd 5 times. I take Zeppelin over Jimi but I would love to see him too.

11. Hendrix, preferably in a club.
I'd like to see any of the others in concert except for the Jonas Brothers.

My first choice would involve resurrecting Lonesome Dave Peverett from the dead, in which case I'd love to see the original Foghat. Another resurrection or two would be necessary, as I believe Roger Craig is no longer with us either.

Of the list, I'd pick Jimi. But I'd rather see Janis, if we're resurrecting people, and also like the Queen suggestion above.

42. Hendrix, of course...
..."The Jimi Hendrix Movie"...

...is worth a watch just for the "circle the wagons" comments by British rock icons like Jagger, Townshend and Clapton. When Hendrix started making noise in England, they basically called each other up and started sweating about their share of the turf.

He redefined the playing field. The "seasoned pros" knew that they couldn't come within a mile of him...they had no choice but to sit back and be fans with the rest of the world.

Any of the people on your list would be worth seeing, but Hendrix is the one who would be most likely to do something you've never seen before. I've seen dorks from the suburbs play the guitar behind their neck and with their teeth, but it's never quite the same...you know?

:toast:

46. Probably have to go with Hendrix.
I've seen the Stones (though unfortunately not with Mick Taylor). Haven't seen Zeppelin or Floyd, but there remains a slight possibility that one or both of these bands might tour again. I'm not remotely interested in any "Pink Floyd" lineup that doesn't include Roger Waters, but I don't think Gilmour is going to do that again. After the Live Earth show, I was hopeful that they might play live again, and longer than 20 minutes. Zeppelin... won't be the same without Bonzo, and Plant is nowhere near the singer he was in the 70's, but I'd go to the show because... well, because it's fucking Zeppelin. How can you NOT see them if you have the chance?

As for the Jonas brothers, the only way I'd pay to see them, is if it was watching their tour bus go over a cliff. I'd buy that DVD and watch it daily.
