The Netgear fvs318 firewall router is not compatible with PPPoA connectios (Point to Point Protocol over ATM).
Sigh. The actiontec 1524 has sufficient capabilities, but the netgear looked better.
Oh well. At least the $150 spent from it can go to other things...
Wish the netgear device came with a manual or say on the box "not compatible with this and that and the other thing".
