It took me several years to reach 100 posts.

Then it took me about a year to reach 200 posts.
Now it is only two (maybe three) months later and I'm about to run head-first into 300.

How the hell did that happen. I'm still the quiet guy in the corner. :P

So, anyone else start out very very s l o w l y? How many posts do you have and how long has it taken you to get there?

You know, I think I donated for the first time right around the time of my first post. I figured, if I'm going to browse enough to stick around, and if this place is good enough that I want to talk to people here then I might as well help pay for the place.

It suprises me when I see people say, "I've posted a thousand times. I guess I should donate now."

But, I know many people don't have the spare change under the cushions. So it's great that people donate for other people.

How's that for a tangent. :P

but I travel so much without my 10 lb laptop, and since the Iraq invasion been transfered to NYC and the commutes do not permit me to drag my computer as much. Wish I still didn't owe as much as I do or I would buy something else lighter with wireless built in. Oh well, time goes by so fast anyway.

32. I almost out of the dreaded 700 club

I started slow like you and then I got involved in GD2004. We had some killer Clark support threads on primary night before he dropped out and that really got my count up. (Oh those were the days!)

I don't know when I really started posting. Lurked for a long time. I still read more than I post. People here are so interesting.

Thanks for asking. Watch out, before you know it, you'll be in 700 club too! :D
