How do people use DU? It's so big!
So many excellent contributors and the threads scroll down so quickly that it's impossible to grasp more than a small imprint of a fraction of what goes by.

Do longterm contributors to DU have interesting tricks for organizing their time online, esp. in their use of political forums?

1. Use the mark function.
It highlights the new posts.

7. Thanks, I'll try that.
At first I thought you meant "use the mark time stamp feature" in preferences, which is already on. But I see you mean the 'mark' icon in the DU menu.

4. It is big!
I normally check my posts first...any PMs too...

And then on to the Lounge!

I love the poetry threads...

And then into the political forums to see what's cooking...

And who's writing...

I also check into the Photo forum, since I post over there...

Like that!

:hi:

9. hmm, I start with vids and stuff on the front page, then go on to
get bogged down in GD:P. More rarely GD.

I'll go visit the arts oriented areas - strange that I haven't yet, since I'm into the creative arts.
