Anyone else missing their University kids this week, we dropped of our middle
son in Halifax this week where he is starting his first year. My oldest is in her fourth year and my youngest is in grade 11. It just seems so quiet and when I put something away it seems to stay in place, now I know who the culprit was. I don't know why I feel so out of sorts this is a good thing for him.

2. Buzzard it is the empty nest syndrome.
I don't have kids, but my sister's middle and my brother's youngest both went to college this week. Both of them seem pretty blue.

3. I know I should expect this but it has hit rather hard. I just wonder what other parents do to fill
the void.

7. It's normal after each one.
First, second, fourth or fifth. Each one of them holds a special place in our heart and we feel a little lost without them.

I cried - again - when we took #2 son to school this fall.

6. I don't know how to explain it, but I do understand the feeling.
I don't care to get into specifics, but I do know that what is best for them can be rather a slap in the face. How dare they get along just fine without mom, (or dad)!

I can, however, offer you a hug.
