And stupid.

I work too fucking much. I did a really cool thing, with my biochemistry work, about two years ago, but now, I have let my work that makes me money consume me.

I am sick of it, but it takes care of so many people, monetarily. *I* take care of so many people, monetarily, I cannot stop.

I want the me back that was involved in ferreting out the truth of cystic fibrosis. I am tired of the me that is just doing a job.

The problem is that the only thing that interests me is Otto Warburg's work on cancer. And that is the way towards a jail cell in this country. You do not work on a better way of treating cancer in this country, unless you want to go to jail.

I think I'm going to do it anyway.

I'm skeptical, but (a) it's not my field., and (b) I think the increase in oxidative metabolism is more likely an effect than a cause. Just my two cents, and that's likely all it's worth.
