4. LSD is a very strong drug. Please remember that you are under the influence. |
|
Whenever something gets overwhelming, it's good to laugh and say 'it COULD BE the drugs!!'
Also, welcome to the universe.

I got my new iPod a couple of days ago - thought it would NEVER get music transferred. I started it when I got home from work and it was still going in the morning when I got up. Didn't help that I had a million programs running, and that it has to convert all my FLACs on the fly before depositing them on the iPod but... yeah. Even better than it used to be!
I did put iTunes on my work computer (iPod was delivered there) to get it set up and registered first - and I'll probably leave it there for the occasional firmware update. No music on that machine though, so I don't have to worry about iTunes mucking anything up ... I don't think.

It's good to call someone you like, but don't get into a stressful thing right now. It's going to be intense for a while-- well, it might be, depends on whether you got the good acid-- otherwise it might be boring. Get a grip and enjoy the experience. Don't be afraid. It's pretty cool, really.

17. You have quite a journey left to go. |
|
Try not to eat anything other than fruit or veggies; the stomach can be very fragile in this condition.
You need to breathe. This is NOT fatal nor is it insanity inducing. You are on a rollercoaster and it has pulled away from the boarding area. Please remain calm, keep your hands and feet inside the metaphorical car. Do not call the police; do not drive or walk around. Interacting with sober strangers can be VERY disorienting.

39. I wish you had been there when I had my first freak out trip |
|
about a thousand years ago. It was the 4th of July, over 100 degrees outside, and my companion insisted that the great outdoors was the place to be.
First I was horrifically paranoid. Then I thought I was dead.
I never did that again.

Concentrate on your breath: visualize breathing in calm, and breathing out fear. Find some music that always makes you smile - Samba and the Loving Spoonful do it for me.
Avoid scary movies and the news. Keep posting if it makes you feel better. You won't die, and you're not losing your mind.
And the cops couldn't care less about you.

34. just sit back, breathe in, and let the stars in the sky |
|
and the earth under your feet ground you in your reality.
Remember your reality is not really altered, it is just the drug
think of it as a movie, that you are kicked back watching, and that it will have an ending.
Remember that you are real, and what you see might not be.
Take a little trip, take a little trip, take a little trip to see... take a little trip, take a little trip, take a little trip with me...

43. Put some headphones on with some music playing and |
|
force yourself to quit being paranoid. Drugs can sometimes react with you and make you paranoid. Maybe LSD isn't your thing. It's the one drug I can't handle too. So, chill out and listen to some great music and fight the paranoia until it all passes.
I thought my first LSD trip would never end and I was soooo sure I was going to get killed by the posters in my room. My Joan Jett posters grew octopus arms with chains and chased me under my bed. I was scared too. Eventually, I came out from under the bed and laid down ON the bed. Eventually, I fell asleep. When I woke up, I "felt funny," but was otherwise no worse for wear.
