Thoughts on Sarah Palin....thoughts on the RNC...anything, but I'm open to conversation....ANY conversation! Just keep me awake, damnit!

1. Sarah Palin is a dangerous conservative tool

dangerous because she is a) physically attractive in a way that is appealing to both men and women for different reasons; b) can speak like she is an "ordinary" person, just one of "us" when in reality she is one of the oil addicted right wing religious conservatives who want to dominate politics with biblical law.

Sarah is able to be both hypocritical and likable at the same time.

She was likely brought in to the ticket for the youth factor, the "hockey mom" factor, the sacrificing mother factor, the child with needs factor, the pro life factor, the evangelical/dominionist factor, and the "lets drill ANWR because its good for energy growth" factor.

As far as the convention... what convention? I haven't watched anything but Sarah's speech. I had to take a shower after that one.

As far as the VPILF or MILF factors? That's something that is I'm sure just part of her overall appeal.
