Granted, the storm hasn't quite hit yet, but already my expectations are not being met. :D

They are saying its gonna be the worst between 2-5 today. Looks like we are getting more rain than you currently...:hi:

Call me strange or psycho ( :P ), but I've sort of been hoping for a minor storm like this. I love storms. They are so exhilarating.

That blowing sand is a pain in the ass! I was at OC on vacation on a sunny but very windy day and I had no desire to stay outside....

But we really needed the water. I think we got about 4.5 inches of rain. It's stopped raining now, though and it's expected to clear out by this afternoon.

My rain gear wasn't much help, except keeping my money damp rather than sodden. It was coming down so hard, there were fish swimming in the street and a shark cruised right above me.
