first Lounge Post - need a stiff drink - madder than hell
and I can't stand it.

I am sick to friggin death of the massive stupidity that has gripped our nation for the past 3 1/2 years and I cannot stand another minute of the crap being shoved at the people of this county.

I am disgusted by the very fact that these traitorous thieves are allowed to occupy space in this country.

They deserve to be pushed into a boat and given as much respect as they show to the Haitians.

Bastards every last one of them.

Paid by our tax dollars to steal us all blind and destroy our present, our future and our children's lives.

1. Wish I could help you calm down...
...but I'm just as mad as you are. The bastards should face the harshest of punishments for their crimes.

5. Just channel that anger
into positive action. And a drink every now and then doesn't hurt. In fact, on days I'm really angry, goofing off in the Lounge helps just as much.

Off-topic to Mary Pat: I love your sig line! Did you make that yourself?

11. Thanks, yes. But...
...I saw something like it at another site (the same two photos but a different caption). So someone else had the basic idea first.

3. Channel
I think its safe to say that every one of us here has felt that level of anger and frustration at some point since Theft 2000. Get your drink. Have another. And remember to channel your energy to getting the bastards out. Lets get that done first, then we can worry about shipping them off to the Hague.

Agreed?

4. Love your posts UIAs...
Join me as I gulp my fine Pinot Grigio as I ponder the fate of my country, my family and myself as we react to this unimaginable horror that is bushco*...(hic!)

7. well thank you
Leftchick (I am always happy to read your thoughts also :) )

as you sip your fine Pinot Grigio, I hoist my glass of "Two Buck Chuck" but am happy to at least have that tonight.

I stood (with my hubby) outside out door and shouted and yelled my profanities to this mal-administration's actions at the top of my lungs - but alas - still have too much seething rage than is healthy for anyone.

8. The passage of time heals all the heavy stuff. When I get like this, I
read some Emerson. He made an awful lot of sense. You'll be fine after a good night's sleep. Get a good meal. Breath deep and lay down.

9. I am not sure about
the "time heals all" stuff -

what I hope for is that "the wheels of justice grind very slowly, but they grind very finely indeed".
