Update on the Bald Douchebag and the Middle School.

I emailed the principal yesterday when I got home and explained what had happened. He emailed me back while I was out and I just read it.

He completely and totally apologized because he said there is NO SUCH RULE that I couldn't have lunch with the little friend and that the front officer staff person AND the BD were completely out of line. He said he will be speaking with them about this Monday morning. That the officer especially was out of line for the way he spoke to me.

38. It was actually a very nice email.

Interestingly, no mention of this 'rule' and their need to enforce it. Just a sincere apology and a hope that I wouldn't let this be my lasting impression of the school.

Knowing the CYA attitude of schools, had this 'rule' been in fact, a rule, the principal would have written a lengthy treatise on their needs to keep their children safe from fast food and that he would speak to his staff about ways to enforce it without being so rude.
