Anybody shave their Samoyeds?

We just shaved our bitch, Sitka. Damned if she doesn't look like a sheep with yoda ears. She loves it tho - jumping up and down with boundless energy. And this is a dog on Rimadyl. I'll post a pic later.

2. we trim some of the excess hair from ours but

you have to leave enough fur so that the dog wont get sunburned. they are hair balls though. between our samoyed and two norwegian elkhounds, everything in our house is covered in dog hair.
