3. Yeah, I always thought visual art was something you either had the talent for or didn't

but I discovered that doing it every day and doing exercises that seem pointless at the time over and over again actually improve that too. :P

4. My teacher uses the Suzuki method--which means that, for a while, I was hearing

"Variations on Twinkle, Twinkle" in my sleep. Suzuki uses repetitive exercises to help you learn finger positions, and to learn to read the music. It felt silly at first, but I see the point, now.

Hmmm, maybe I can actually draw, too. No, that would be too much to ask!
