Spent the day cutting more plywood for windows due to Hurricane Ike.
Everybody along the gulf coast and inland from the coast take care.

I wish this hurricane would just go away.

I was so looking forward to September, now I wish it was June again.

I hate waiting, not sure who and where Ike will hit.

1. Sorry you're going through this again.
My son is waiting to see what happens with Ike before he returns to NOLA.

Man, what a year! Take care, KW! Maybe it will peter out in the gulf...

2. Our guests from NOLA are still here, well the women and the kids.
The men went back home but all their houses still do not have power.

If Ike comes this way I may send them to my Aunt's house near Austin.

The house is safe but it might be better for the kids on the farm.

I hope the storm slows down a lot.

To think I was looking forward to the fall.

Hope your son can return home to NOLA soon.

4. Thanks Jeff
I just checked the weather and the storm now may be tracking to the lower Texas coast.

I have friends who live down there.

Still to early to tell.

Nobody seems to be worried yet here, but we have people in Houston who have never been in a big hurricane.

The last storm was 1983, power was out for weeks from some people.

I don't think so many people will be leaving for this one like 3 years ago.

6. Good vibes to you
Dayum, I won't be complaining when the snow comes. It could be much worse.

Take care. :pals:
