6. but, I think a lot of new shows start out with that...
I am willing to give it some time. Hopefully, they will settle down into their roles. I defintiley, like it better than Saving Grace. That show got on my nerves.

7. i watched both episodes, i have hope that it may get better, some good things about it
and some not so good. The guy from saved by the bell warring with Malcolm's mom every week will start getting old fast so hopefully that won't the storyline every episode.

Did you see "The Closer" last night? I really like that show.

8. I caught the tail end of The Closer. It is my favorite show and the
reason I watched Raising The Bar...Lead ins...worked on me, in this case.

9. on Raising the bar last night i thought the more interesting story line was the
white kid that claimed he got beaten up by his fellow black school mate, i thought the court room scene was very good. I'm willing to keeep watching i just hope they change it up a bit.

10. Yes. I agree. The Court Cases are interesting and I am willing
to give the characters some time to flesh out their roles and story lines. It may be uneven but, it held my interest. More so than Saving Grace did.

11. i watched a few episodes of Grace and just really couldn't get into it. I tend to like
watching the process in crime shows and i don't really want to know that much about the personal lives of the main characters, i think that's why i've always been a fan of Law & Order, you get a peek at who they are but it's mostly about the crime.

14. Love "The Closer"
Edited on Tue Sep-09-08 02:09 PM by Liberalynn
I am not into the other two. I read on "Zap To It" that TNT might be going to do a spin off of "The Closer" tentatively titled "The Fixer." No indication as to whether it will star an existing cast member of "The Closer" or an as yet to be introduced guest star.

My bet is on the newspaper columnist character from the "LA Times."

The episode of "The Closer" was great last night. Loved how Brenda manipulated the media flap. Using the situation of Priority Homicide switching to Major Crimes to make her division more powerful rather than less powerful as her colleagues had planned. I just need some more Fritzy scenes and then the show will be perfect for me.
