...uses it as a tissue to blow his nose with, and you've lost your insurance.
Add in how auto insurance companies now feel that your credit report is a better indicator of your safety than your DRIVING RECORD :eyes: , and you can say "bye" to your insurance. Don't believe me? Check your credit report. Lots of places do it for free, but that's because everything's been moved to India... Here's where you want to be concerned: In India, according to 60 minutes on Conservative Broadcasting System (CBS), they say your data and privacy are safe because the Indians working there aren't allowed to have pencil and paper at their stations. :eyes: (the same "news article" didn't even make a token reference to NETWORK SECURITY or even how India's laws are different than ours... this isn't news of any sort, this is regurgitated bovine cud waiting for us to blindly ingest it like good little zombies.)
It's a world filled with creamy cow cack, that's for sure. And it's not going to get any better until we organize big-time.
On edit: replaced an R-rated reference to G-rated ("blow his nose" being the replacement phrase... though I rather liked the old one, seems more apropos for American life, as depicted on TV...)

Well, you got me! :D
Glad you didn't go Geico. They and "Progressive" Auto insurance are the most vicious vultures of the lot. Miss a pyament and you're dead. Have an accident or anything that wasn't your fault? Watch those rates climb faster than Survivor's first season's ratings on CBS. Have an accident or anything that was your fault? Duck for cover... they only take people with spotless records and then ditch 'em when they do need help. They're a lot like repukes... abuse, exploit, ditch...

9. The companies might be, but.... |
|
if you have a good agent you can get what you need.
My agent is a prince. I have State Farm, and I had an accident with no accident report filed (long story, I was in a location where I was too scared to wait and call the police). He got me a check within six hours.
He's also bent over backwards for me on a renter's insurance claim.
State Farm's rates are not too bad, either. Look for a good agent and you might get lucky. Good luck! :hi:
