Has a woman ever been considered as the identity of Jack the Ripper? |
|
Strange thought, because serial killers have almost always been men, but having read about the women who were murdered, it seems to me that another woman, deluded in her own way, might have made the killings to "ease the suffering" of those who were killed.
The women who were killed, for the most part, had absolutely horrible circumstances, and yet at one time in their lives had had stable and solid situations. It seems to me that if that it taken into account, it would have had to be someone who knew the women personally, and not necessarily a random choice of one killer.
A woman could do that--and be quick about it, too.
Since women are often caregivers, midwives and involved in medical professions, the blood involved probably wouldn't have bothered them, and the women who were killed would have been more trusting if they were approached by another woman.
Just saying......

1. The mutilation of the bodies isn't consistent with a mercy killing. |

6. And each mutilation was more brutal and sexual in nature than the previous. |

2. Yeah, for a number of years, a hypothesis floated around about "Jill The Ripper". |
|
But no one has been able to put forward a convincing case; or even any named suspects.

11. You're right. I should not say anything. George Bush is right. I am wrong. |

Peace is war and war is peace, and I am glad we are at peace because of our savior president.

From time to time, it has been suggested that a midwife was the killer. Overall, though, it appears that the murderer was almost certainly a male. The fleting eyewitness reports, the strength needed to perform the brutal mutilations, and the fact that the victims were prostitutes points in that direction.
